No Borders Art Festival acknowledges the festival is situated on unceded unsurrendered Anishinaabe-Aki territory.

NBAF’s belief is that the process of decolonization and liberation of knowledge must be a collective action based on respect and solidarity. NBAF is calling on people from different disciplines, backgrounds, ages, sex/gender identities, ethnicities, abilities, incomes, nationhood, and nationalities to come together in celebration.

It is not without the support of amazing volunteers and community members. We acknowledge their efforts of making No Borders Art Festival a strong, caring & a kind place to meet new friends and to see old friends and to celebrate our strength in breaking down barriers. Chi Miigwech/Wela’lin

Please join us in celebration and we have a lot to celebrate! This years NBAF will bring together artists, musicians, storytellers, makers, drummers, dancers, teachings, conversation and hope. Community coming together to raise our voices. In the following weeks we will post more information.

Where and When: Shenkman Art Centre, Sunday October 29th 10 – 5 pm

This years lineup of musicians, storytellers, poets, you won’t want to miss it. There will be vendors on hand to sell their wares……if you are interested please contact us, great time to pick up special gifts and support the artists!

Le Festival des arts sans frontières (NBAF — No Borders Art Festival) reconnait que le festival est situé sur le territoire non cédé de la Nation algonquine anishinaabe-aki. Le Festival des arts sans frontières est convaincu que le processus de décolonisation et de libération du savoir doit découler d’une action collective basée sur le respect et la solidarité. Le Festival des arts sans frontières invite toutes personnes de diverses disciplines, origines, ethnicités, habiletés, nationalités, citoyennetés et identités de genres et de divers âges, niveaux de revenus et de sexes à s’unir pour célébrer.
